1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Society Sphere, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to represent a housing society, auditing firm, or other organization to use this Platform. By using the Platform, you warrant that you have the legal authority to bind the entity you represent.

3. Services Provided

Society Sphere provides tools and services including, but not limited to:

• Society accounting and billing
• Flat-wise invoice and receipt generation
• Income/expense tracking
• Balance sheet and report generation
• Admin dashboard and user access control

We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features at any time without notice.

4. User Accounts and Access

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You agree not to share your account with unauthorized users.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Data Ownership and Responsibility

• You retain ownership of the data you upload.
• You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy and legality of data entered into the system.
• We are not liable for any financial, legal, or compliance consequences arising from incorrect or fraudulent data entries.

6. Payment and Subscription

• Services may be provided under a monthly or annual subscription model, priced per flat or society.
• Invoices will be raised based on agreed rates and usage.
• Payment gateways used for online payments (e.g., Razorpay, Instamojo) charge transaction fees separately. These are collected directly by the gateway and are not Society Sphere’s responsibility.

7. Confidentiality

We take the privacy of your data seriously. All personal and financial information will be kept confidential and not shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law or for providing services through trusted third-party integrations.

8. Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for unlawful purposes.
• Attempt to reverse engineer or tamper with the software.
• Misrepresent your identity or the societies you manage.
• Upload malicious code or viruses.

9. Limitation of Liability

Society Sphere is provided “as is.” We are not liable for:

• Any indirect or consequential loss.
• Loss of data due to user error or system failure.
• Temporary service interruptions.

Total liability in any case shall not exceed the subscription fee paid in the last three months.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform for violations of these terms, non-payment, or misuse. You may also discontinue usage at any time, but no refunds will be issued for unused portions.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. You will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the Platform after changes implies your acceptance.
